There are a lot of schools to choose from, and a lot of rankings. We hereby present the first annual (well, roughly) OneMinuteMBA list of top schools. Our methodology is simple: this is our arbitrary, highly impressionistic, and heavily media-influenced idea of which MBA programs are the best: - Harvard: Well, it's the Harvard of business schools. They publish the influential Harvard Business Review. An HBS degree is like instant success. Just add water. We'll overlook the whole Dubya thing.
- Wharton (University of Pennsylvania): Everyone we know who went to Wharton is very smart and makes a lot of money
- Stanford: If you're feeling entrepreneurial, what better place to be than Palo Alto?
- Columbia: Ivy League. New York City. What's not to like?
- NYU: So close to the Street, you can taste it. Top-ranked part-time program.
- Kellogg (Northwestern): Chicago is much cooler than you think, and your six figure salary goes a long way.
- Yale, Cornell, Dartmouth: All love to the Ivies. But, as the real-estate agents say, "Location, location, location!" Ever been to New Haven?
- Michigan: They're bound to have the best football team of the top programs. Seriously, good program, dull location.
